DIRECTIONS TO REGISTRATION OF 3 DAY DESCENT (LITTLE SWITZERLAND):

Directions from Gauteng:
Take the N3 to Durban / Harrismith. Take the second off-ramp at Harrismith – Bethlehem N5 (NOT Wimpy – Bergview Complex). Turn right towards Bethlehem and bypass Harrismith. Travel 4.5KM and turn left onto the R712, Qwa-Qwa / Phuthaditjhaba / Bergville Road – Alternative Route to Durban. Travel a further 8.5KM and turn left onto the Bergville R74. Little Switzerland Resort is situated a further 27.6KM on the right hand side of the Oliviershoek Pass.
Directions from Durban:
Proceed North on N3. After Ultra City take offramp left towards Bergville. Pass through Winterton and Bergville and go up Oliviershoek pass.Little Switzerland is situated 36km from Bergville, at the top of the pass on your left hand side.
Directions from Bloemfontein:
Take the N1 from Bloemfontein to Winburg. At Winburg, take the off-ramp to Senekal / Bethlehem / Harrismith. right onto the R712 Approximately 4.5KM before Harrismith, turn right onto the R712 – Travel a further 8.5 KM and turn left onto the Bergville R74 Little Switzerland Resort is situated a further 27.6KM on the right hand side of the Oliviershoek Pass.
DIRECTIONS TO START OF 3 DAY RACE AT SPIES FARM

Directions from Harrismith:
Take 2nd offramp N5 to Bethlehem. After 4.5kms turn LEFT on the R712to Qwa-Qwa / Phuthaditjhaba ,After about 8.5KMS turn left on R74 to Bergville. Pass entrance to Sterkfontein dam. Proceed down next district road S19 For 2.5kms to farm on left.
Directions from Registration:
Proceed north up Oliviershoek pass. Pass Caterpillar and Catfish. After 12,5 kms turn Right on District road S19. Proceed 2.5kms to start.
DIRECTIONS TO EMSENI FROM START OF 3 DAY RACE

Drive back to R74. Turn left and go down the pass. Go straight through Bergville and proceed towards Winterton. Before Winterton turn LEFT on the R600 to Spionkop Dam/Ladymith. Proceed 18kms. Emseni is on your right below the dam wall.
DIRECTIONS TO WINTERTON COUNTRY CLUB (FINISH DAY 3)

Directions from Emseni:
Go out of Emseni and turn left. After 18kms turn left at the T-junction towards Winterton. Go straight through town. The Country Club is on your left opposite the Lutheran Church on your right.
Directions from Durban:
Take N3 north. After Shell Ultra City take next offramp left to Bergville. Proceed 20kms. You will see Winterton Country Club on your right hand side as you enter Winterton village.
